Paul Clemens Bart is a German architect, designer and researcher, currently based in London. After his studies at NTU Singapore & ÉSA Paris, he graduated with distinction at Technische Universität Munich in 2011. As a scholar of the German-Academic-Exchange he is currently enrolled in his post-graduate studies at the Architectural Association‘s Design Research Lab. Trained to work interdisciplinary, intermedia and intercultural, Paul has worked in multifaceted disciplines, among others as Design Architect at LAVA (Laboratory for Visionary Architecture) in Sydney & Berlin and as scientific associate at the German Institute of Science and Technology in Singapore. Paul’s work is committed to emerging technologies, digital methodologies and their application across scales – from urban visions to ecological mobile systems. Exploring the issues of temporality and mobility in architecture, they apply principles of self-assembly and self-organization by the means of micro-controlled prototyping and computational simulation. His work has been internationally published and exhibited, e.g. at the 13th & 14th Architectural Biennale in Venice and the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show.
