Leonard Schrage is an architect, designer and entrepreneur from Dusseldorf, Germany. His project called „The Ark of Kratié“ is an architectural commentary on aspects of the current political and environmental situation in rural Cambodia, where campitalism is threatening to repeat the country’s explicit history. The project highlights the imminent problematic of planned huge hydro power dams and its consequences
Leonard studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich and is currently enrolled in the diploma programme of the Architectural Association in London, supported by a scholarship of the DAAD. During his studies he has worked for architectural practices just as ingenhoven architects, Auer Weber and HENN, as well as for Sustainable Urbanism (TU Munich). Leonard is co-founder of an architectural collective, a small web and graphic design bureau and a former e-learning start-up.
