Hannes Heinrich lives and works temporary in London, he studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Germany since 2010. Fascinated by space, Hannes Heinrich sees the canvas and the material that he works on as a stage where he creates the impression of space which actually does not exist. Projecting his thoughts on the painting, he builds those empty places as a scope. In his series of skate parks he found the freedom to abstract without loosing the reference to the reality and they seemed to be like a carryover from the past culture without an obvious use but also with a specific meaning. The process is also central for his own artistic projects, with its own dynamics and in the way he works, he needs to immerse himself in a topic or a project to develop new shapes and complex correlations out of the systematic thought.
