Arturo Garcia DlHeras

Arturo was born in Madrid, and lived in Barcelona before moving to London, where he currently resides. He is reminded by drawing and painting from life, but it was not until 2001 when he started receiving “Illustration and Airbrush” lessons by the prestigious illustrator Carlos Díez (famous for his pin-up) during two years. From 2004, and for two more years, he learned how to use oils and pigments from two masters in his hometown, Madrid. Later on, in Barcelona and then in London, he started exploring other techniques and materials, like engraving (lessons taken from Hermann Orduña at Studio-Gallery “La Rueda”). Arturo is in permanent search of new techniques, not only getting the appropriate lessons from an academic perspective, but also experimenting himself with new materials and ideas, which you can tell just browsing his artwork through the years. Currently his work can be found in private collections in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Toledo in Spain, as well as Bogota in Colombia, Puerto Rico in U.S.A., Melbourne in Australia, and London in United Kingdom
